Who are we?
We are a brand-new tour business based in York, dedicated to uncovering the city’s darker and often overlooked history. Underworld Tours offers something different from the usual ghost and magic walks, focusing instead on real crime and the people who lived it. On our crime walk, you will explore stories of forgers, arsonists, law and order, and murderers who once shaped York’s streets. Along the way, you will visit iconic locations including York Minster, the Shambles, and York Castle Prison.
