1. Booking and Payment

1.1 All reservations must be completed via our official event page on Ticket Tailor.
1.2 Payment in full is required at the time of booking. Fare Harbor accepts major credit cards, debit cards, and any additional payment methods listed on the booking page.
1.3 After your payment has been successfully processed, a confirmation email will be sent containing your ticket and all relevant event information.

2. Cancellations and Refunds

2.1 Participants must submit any cancellation requests at least 48 hours prior to the scheduled tour to qualify for a refund. Any non-recoverable booking or service fees may be deducted from the refunded amount.
2.2 Cancellations made less than 48 hours before the scheduled tour are not eligible for a refund.
2.3 The Underworld Tours of York reserves the right to cancel a tour in the event of unforeseen circumstances, including but not limited to severe weather, safety issues, or other events beyond our reasonable control. In such cases, participants will be offered either a full refund, or the option to reschedule the tour.
2.4 Nothing in this section limits or affects your statutory rights under UK consumer law.

3. Tour Requirements and Conduct

3.1 Participants are required to arrive at the designated meeting point no less than 15 minutes before the scheduled start time.
3.2 The Underworld Tours of York reserves the right to deny participation to any individual who appears intoxicated, behaves disruptively, or presents a risk to the safety or enjoyment of other participants.
3.3 Participants must follow all safety instructions issued by the tour guide. Failure to comply may result in removal from the tour without entitlement to a refund.

4. Age Guidance and Attendance

4.1 The Underworld Tours of York is recommended for participants aged 18 and over, as the tour contains material that may be unsuitable or distressing for younger audiences.
4.2 Attendance by children under the age of 16 is at the discretion of a parent or legal guardian. A minimum recommended age of 13 applies, and all participants under 16 must be accompanied by a paying adult at all times throughout the tour.

5. Liability and Risk

5.1 Nothing in these terms limits or excludes The Underworld Tours of York’s liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, or for any other liability that cannot be excluded under UK law.
5.2 Subject to clause 5.1, The Underworld Tours of York shall not be liable for any loss, damage, or injury suffered by participants during the tour, except where such loss, damage, or injury results directly from our negligence or a breach of these terms.
5.3 Participants take part in the tour at their own risk and are responsible for complying with all instructions and safety guidance provided by the tour guide.
5.4 The Underworld Tours of York accepts no responsibility for loss of or damage to personal property unless such loss or damage is caused by our negligence.
5.5 Participants are encouraged to ensure they have suitable personal insurance to cover any relevant activities and associated risks.
5.6 Nothing in these terms affects your statutory rights as a consumer.

6. Photography and Media

6.1 Participants may take photographs during the tour for personal use only. Any commercial use of photographs, video, or audio recordings is strictly prohibited without prior written consent from The Underworld Tours of York.
6.2 By taking part in the tour, participants grant The Underworld Tours of York permission to use any photographs or video footage captured by our staff during the tour for promotional and marketing purposes.
6.3 Filming the tour in its entirety and/or live streaming the tour is strictly prohibited. Failure to comply with this requirement may result in removal from the tour without refund. The Underworld Tours of York reserves the right to protect members of the public and its staff from unauthorised filming. Short video clips may be recorded for personal use and shared on social media, provided express permission is obtained from the tour guide.

7. Privacy and Data Protection

7.1 The Underworld Tours of York respects your privacy and is committed to safeguarding your personal data. By making a booking, you consent to the collection and use of your personal information in accordance with our Privacy Policy. 

8. Changes to Terms and Conditions

8.1 The Underworld Tours of York reserves the right to amend these terms and conditions at any time. Any updates will be communicated to participants via email and/or published on our website.
